A subtropical garden behind a weatherboard bungalow, built around water. The pool and its round spa sit tight against the house in green mosaic, edged in sandstone crazy paving and screened by a run of slim copper rod. Past the fence the ground opens to lawn, a white brick fireplace, and planting that runs to palms, bromeliads and bougainvillea.
